FALL RETREAT
Do you need to get away from it all, so you can spend lots of time preserving your precious memories? Just need a girls weekend? This retreat was created just for that. During our past retreats we have discovered that this can be stated very simply...1. no cooking 2. no cleaning 3. no distractions!! This is every scrapbookers dream!
We wish we could share with you all the great stories from our retreats....like the ladies that have traveled here without their scrap buddies that instantly found many new scrapping pals to share ideas with. There are the mother and daughters that hang out and laugh as much as the girlfriends from high school. For some, this is the first time they leave the babies and for others it is a time to do pages of loved ones long gone. We have tried to create an atmosphere where you can relax in your jammies, stay up all night giggling with girlfriends and creating fabulous scrapbook pages. Won't you come join us?
This is an all inclusive Spring scrapbook retreat being held by Scrapbooks on Broadway at the Seabury Center located on the beautiful Berea College Campus. The campus is a beautiful location that will have you relaxed and give you the break you deserve!
We’ve already done the planning – so you can enjoy uninterrupted crop time throughout the entire weekend!
- Each scrapbooker will be guaranteed a 3' to 6’ table of their own to crop on.
- Make & Takes will be provided

- Layout Contest each day
- Tool Table available; tool table will include Quickutz, with a variety of QK fonts and dies. Sizzix Machine with 4 alphabets, and Ellison Machine w/ alphabet, heat Gun, crimper, chalks, an assortment of rubber stamps and inks, as well as idea books.
Lots of prizes will be given away.(Due to the frequent new releases we can’t announce all giveaways now, but, there will be some awesome prizes!)
From Friday at 2:00 p.m. (est) to Sunday at 3:00 p.m. (est) you will have uninterrupted SCRAPBOOK time. We'll have make and takes and some awesome games and prizes, everything you need to make your weekend productive and comfortable is included in the package.
Upon arrival, each attendee will be awarded a goodie bag and assigned their 6' of cropping space. When you arrive, you can do as you wish with your supplies, and you don’t have to pack up until you go home on Sunday! You can come and go as you please, to have a snack, take nap, a walk on the Campus, whatever you choose. If you choose not to leave, you can stay in your p.j.’s all weekend and focus on scrapbooking! There will be a small amount of extra cardstock and mics. Embellishments available for sell…but remember to stock up before the retreat!
Itinerary
- Roll Call: Everyone will meet at Hotel 1 P.M. and find your room&. Crop officially begins on Friday @ 2:00 pm (est)
- Find your rooms and meet back in the meeting room to start cropping!
- Friday Night – Get comfortable ladies, our retreat is just beginning! Pizza Party P.J. Crop! Pizzas will be catered from our local favorite Mario's Pizza
- Saturday Morning: Continental Breakfast will be available at the hotel. (Additional goodies will be available in the crop room.)
- Saturday Lunch 12 Noon. No need to leave, sandwiches and chips along with a vegetable tray will be available in the crop room!
- Saturday Dinner: A delicious dinner will be catered to us.
- Sunday Breakfast: Continental Breakfast available at the hotel. (Additional goodies will be available in the crop room, which will open at 8 A.M.)
- Games, drawings and contest will be held at different times throughout the retreat!
- Unless everyone wants to stay later, the crop room will close at Midnight (est) on Friday Night and Saturday Night and open back up on Saturday and Sunday morning at 8 a.m. (est)
- Check out is 11:00 am (est). This is the time that you have to be out of the rooms. The crop room will be available a bit longer. You can continue to crop until 3:00 P.M. (est) We’ll say our goodbyes and look forward to our next retreat!
Registration Must be Pre-paid.
To reserve your space and lodging at the retreat The full registration must be paid in full no later Than September 21, 2008.
Cancellation policy-Please Read Carefully
Cancellations prior to September 14, 2008 will receive full refund. Cancellations between September15 and September 25th will receive a $125.00 refund. No refund will be issued to cancellations after September 25th, 2008 due to expenses we would have incurred on your behalf. No shows receive no refund.

Crop Room Seating
We will have assigned seating. Please list your crop table buddies.
Registrations will be dated as we receive them, and you will be mailed a confirmation packet, complete with Directions to the retreat.
Early Bird Registration
Register by August 15, 2008 and have your name entered into a drawing for a scrapbook prize!

Terms of agreement:

I hereby release Scrapbooks On Broadway Spring Retreat, Seabury Center, it’s sponsors, it’s offices, it’s agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, lawsuits, damages, losses, costs and expenses of any kind that will arise out of or result from my attendance at the Scrapbooks On Broadway Spring Retreat, whether or not foreseeable, including without limitation personal injuries to my or my invitees. With my attendance at the event, I realize that I may be included in publicity photos. I hereby give my consent for the use of these photos and or comments in future Scrapbooks On Broadway Retreat promotional materials.
Please no open drink containers at crop tables. You are welcome to bring a spill-proof mug. Mugs will be available to purchase at the store before the retreat. The crop-room is a no-smoking environment, however you may step outside when necessary. Alcoholic beverages or visitors will not be permitted inside the crop room. ONLY THOSE REGISTERED CROPPERS WILL BE GRANTED ACCESS INSIDE THE CROP ROOM!
